- $42-$55/hr + super — specialist crane & hoist employer
A well-established and growing specialist in industrial lifting solutions is looking for a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter — ideally holding or working toward a Restricted Electrical Licence — to join their Brisbane-based service team on a permanent basis.
The role covers service, planned maintenance, reactive breakdown response, and commissioning work across overhead cranes, hoists, gantry systems, and jib cranes for a diverse industrial client base. The work is a genuine mix of mechanical and electrical — you'll be in your element if you understand both the mechanical operation of lifting equipment and the basics of how electrical control systems interact with it.
You'll be paired with a senior technician through a structured onboarding process that includes formal crane awareness training.

- Complete detailed service reports and compliance documentation to national safety standards
- Represent the business professionally on every site visit — customer service is part of the job

- $42–$55/hr + superannuation — rate reflects your trade qualification and the specialist nature of the work
- Company vehicle, fuel card, and phone provided from day one — full kit from the start
- Permanent, stable employment — not contract, not labour hire, not casual
- Overtime available — approximately 8 hours per week if desired; not mandatory
