About the Role:
We're seeking a motivated Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our National Engineering Team. In this role, you'll contribute to innovative engineering projects, engage in complex problem-solving, and have the opportunity to grow into leadership positions. Key Responsibilities:
Design and Drafting: Develop and maintain sales presentations and technical drawings. Design new and modified mobile equipment using Autodesk Inventor.
Engineering Projects: Work on various engineering projects, perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on products, and assist in solving in-service issues.
Technical Expertise: Apply your understanding of hydraulic and electrical control systems. Carry out CAD administration duties and contribute to developing engineering standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and drawings meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, service, and operational teams to improve customer service processes and supplier relationships.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia.
Experience: Strong background in mechanical design and drafting within a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling (especially Autodesk Inventor), practical experience with hydraulic and electrical control systems, and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Soft Skills: Excellent organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ambition to grow into leadership roles.
