The Opportunity
Australian manufacturer. Adventure van and 4WD equipment. With consistent and sustained growth they need someone to own customer enquiries, dealer relationships, and build the systems that don't exist yet.
You'll report to the Founder. Own the customer journey. Build the CRM from scratch. Grow into commercial leadership as the business scales.

This role is recruiting through Giide. Client disclosed to shortlisted candidates.

You'll understand production constraints, lead times, how sales impacts the shop floor.

What You'll Own (Year 1) Customer Enquiries — 60%
  • All inbound enquiries — phone, email, showroom
  • Enquiry to order journey — quality and speed
  • Set expectations on lead times, specs, delivery
Dealer Network — 25%
  • Manage dealer and trade partner relationships
  • Handle dealer enquiries, technical questions, order coordination
  • Primary commercial contact for B2B partners
Systems Building — 15%
  • Design customer enquiry systems (CRM, lead tracking, quoting workflows)
  • Establish KPIs for response times and conversion
  • Document processes that scale
Who Fits 3-5 years in customer-facing commercial roles. Top performer. No path up.

You might be:
  • Best account manager or rep — no promotion available
  • Customer service lead ready to own revenue and systems
  • Technical sales in manufacturing — ready for full commercial ownership
  • Dealer support manager — ready to own the full journey
Manufacturing, engineering, or industrial equipment experience strongly preferred.

Also relevant: Automotive, construction equipment, trade supply, B2B with dealer networks.

Must-Haves
  • 3-5 years customer-facing commercial roles
  • Proven customer enquiry and relationship management
  • Strong communicator — written, verbal, phone, email
  • Organised, nothing falls through cracks
  • CRM systems experience or fast learner
  • Self-starter — sees what needs doing, does it
Highly Regarded
  • Manufacturing, engineering, or industrial equipment background
  • Dealer network or B2B trade partnership experience
  • Understanding how sales impacts production
  • Experience building processes from scratch
  • 4WD, automotive, or adventure van knowledge
